Our Beginning

We opened our doors in 1980 with a simple vision of providing professional painting services. Since then, we have become the largest residential re-painting company in Thurston County and were voted Best of South Sound from 2012 to 2018.

Our team is also recognized as a business that takes steps toward environmentally-conscious practices; this includes using sustainable materials when possible while maintaining strict safety standards for our employees.

Flying Colors was also the first painting company recognized as a Thurston Green Business. This is an award given only to those businesses who take steps to decrease their environmental footprint by incorporating sustainable measures into their regular practices.

Our Philanthropic Work

At Flying Colors Painting, we believe that it is important to give back to our community, and we are dedicated to doing our part to make the world a better place.

We have also been known to donate our time and resources to help with various community painting projects. For example, our owner Dustin Wilson and project manager Mike recently took a trip with their families to the Okanagan area. As you may remember, many homes were destroyed in the recent wildfires, so this trip was focused on repainting four homes for free.

Flying Colors Painting has also done charitable work in the past in both Olympia and Tacoma. We have completed projects for homeless shelters, free dental offices, churches, soup kitchens, and homes for equal housing lenders. This is just one small way we are able to connect with our communities.
